Originally from Portugal, Diana graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from the ULHT in Lisbon 2015. She moved to the UK in 2016 and after a year in general practice, she went on to complete a rotation internship and an orthopaedic internship before undertaking 3-year ECVS Small Animal Surgical residency training programme at the Royal Veterinary College. She has joined Grove Referrals in August 2025 and is preparing to undertake the board exam to become a ECVS Diplomate Specialist in Small Animal Surgery.

Diana enjoys all aspects of orthopaedic surgery but has a particular interest in feline orthopaedics and elbow dysplasia in dogs. She is also involved in research into cranial cruciate ligament disease in cats and angular limb conformation.

Services We Offer

Four full-time surgeons work in the referral practice; Gordon Brown, Simon Gilbert, James Tattersall and Richard Whitelock, who have a wealth of experience between them. The practice has dedicated facilities, equipment and a full nursing team in support.

Our team of experienced surgeons all have advanced training and qualifications in small animal orthopaedics and spinal surgery.
